Software manuals
A week after arriving at TOWER Software I was asked to write a manual for an application that nobody except the programmer knew about. Luckily, he was willing to sit down and talk to me about the product, a few weeks later Chapter 17 - WebDrawer was the result.

Hardware Manuals
The combination of complicated software and complicated audio processing equipment in the "Huron Digital Audio Convolution Workstation" made it a nightmare for first time users. The Huron quick start guide grew out of a need to address first time users fear of this machine. Note this is a large (2MB file).

Academic Writing
This is the sort of stuff I used to write before I joined the workforce. This nifty little document was entitled "Crystal Gazing - The future of Hemoglobin Crystallization in Archaeology" and is my Bachelor of Arts Honors Thesis (in Archaeology). As interesting as it sounds, I have only included the introduction to this marvelously dry prose here. If you would like to learn more about protein chemistry and the differential preservation of blood on stone tools I heartily recommend reading the whole thing.
